On Friday 21 April 2023, the President of Chile Gabriel Boric visited the GEOLITH pilot facility at the Universidad de Antofagasta in the Atacama Desert.
The president came along with several ministers: Marcela Hernando, Minister of Mining; Mario Marcel, Minister of the Treasury; Nicolás Grau, Minister of Economy; Aisén Etcheverry, Minister of Science and Alberto Van Klaveren, Minister of Foreign Relations.
This visit highlighted the importance of Franco-Chilean cooperation in economic and industrial development, particularly through the working relationship developed by CELIMIN and GEOLITH for over a year, and through the FASEP process implemented by the French government.
